Why Should I Join RASA?

 

RASA is an exclusive organization for West Contra Costa Unified School District and Confidential Employees  that provides opportunities for members to convene in a professional and social contexts to mutually  support each other.

Member dues are ONLY $100 for the entire year (or $10 per month/10 month - and can be automatically  deducted from monthly payroll).

​RASA Membership Benefits

​

Membership benefits include (but are not limited to) the following activities: 

​

  • Professional development including sponsorship for members to attend annual ACSA Conference  and Leadership Summit. 

  • Professional development that includes local guest speakers 

  • Recognition of your work including annual District Administrators of the Year in the following  categories: 

    • Elementary Principal of the Year 

    • Secondary Principal of the Year 

    • Confidential Employee of the Year 

    • Classified Central Office Administrator of the Year 

    • Certificated Central Office Administrator of the Year 

  • Sponsorship of winners and one guest for the ACSA Region VI awards banquet RASA provides additional benefits such as: 

  • Social events for district administrators 

  • Scholarships awarded to graduating seniors 

  • Recognition with flowers and cards to members in need 

  • ACSA Political Action Committee that works on your behalf 

  • Representation for members who are not part of WCCAA.

Joining RASA and ACSA

 

One doesn’t have to be a member of ACSA to be a member of RASA, but ACSA membership is highly encouraged due to the added benefits. RASA and ACSA membership is separate.
